beach house

It is hard to believe that the music of beach house is done by only two individuals (Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand). They seem to capture memories of late summer evenings or that of early fall. Each song holds elements of tranquility that borders on sadness, not tissue sadness.

The Maryland duo create a unique dynamic with cold minimal percussions and warm fuzzed out guitars intertwined with layers upon layers organs.

Their self titled album combines the perfect amount of shoe gazer and psychedelic. Its alluring hypnotic melodies and dreamy vocals gives beach house a spellbinding and magical sound that stays with you long after the album is over.
